Head of Bappenas: Several Governor Proposal Projects Approved by the Central Government in Kalimantan, NTT, Maluku and Papua

BARITORAYAPOST.COM (Jakarta) - The Minister for National Development Planning opened Rakorgub, in drafting of the 2022 RKP for Kalimantan, NTT, Maluku and Papua regions. The event was held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. On this occasion, the Minister of National Development Planning express factors that hinder economic growth in various regions, some of them are classified as inhibiting factors and major constraining factors.

"The inhibiting factor of economic growth in Central Java Province is the quality of education, while other factors are aspects of financing and employment. The main inhibiting factors for economic growth in East Kalimantan are aspects of financing, economic competitiveness and infrastructure, "said the Minister.

The Minister explained that the main inhibiting factors for economic growth in West Kalimantan are human resources, education and infrastructure, while another inhibiting factor is economic competitiveness. The inhibiting factors for economic growth in South Kalimantan are human resources for education, human resources for health, fiscal and inflation. In Central Kalimantan, human resources education, economic competitiveness, fiscal and inflation and infrastructure are the main inhibiting factors for economic growth.

beside expressing factors that hamper economic growth in various regions, the Minister conveyed a project proposed by the Governor which was approved by the central government.

The governor's proposed project approved by the central government in Central Java is the Pekalongan flood and tearing control system: sungai bremi - meduri (pump procurement, bremi meduri guard house pumping house, long storage development, pumps, pump houses, mulyorejo guard houses, meduri river embankment protection , parapet embankment of bremi-meduri river, normalization / dredging of bremi-meduri river), flood and rob Pekalongan control system: loji / kupang river (sheet pile construction, krib, bronjong, and normalization / dredging), handling of pansela Central Java road infrastructure to reduce inequality with the northern region and support the development of the Borobudur area and the Urut Sewu defense area.

The Governor's project, which was approved by the central government in NTT Province, is to increase the quota for social security for poor families including the target of the first 1000 days of life, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers with children under age two, improving clean water and sanitation in priority stunting handling locations.

Meanwhile in Maluku Province, the approved projects are the construction of a fishing port and an integrated tulehu - waai container, provision of additional meals for pregnant women, toddlers and school children.

The Governor's approved project in North Maluku Province is the construction of BTS / Lastmile, prevention and management of stunting and wasting: Support for sensitive nutrition interventions in the form of providing clean water, sanitation and electricity connection for poor / vulnerable poor households, especially in areas with high stunting cases. Meanwhile, in West Papua Province, the projects approved are the construction of Raja Ampat Airport, the construction of Siboru Airport (new proposal), the construction of the trans West Papua road (Memei-Windesi-Forwata-Kaimana Corridor).

The Governor's proposed projects approved in Papua Province are capacity building for supporting airports for Wamena, Dekai, Elelim, Ilaga, Timika and Tanah Merah, construction of bridges and trans Papua roads, construction of the Waghete - Timika road section; Oksibil - Seredala; Wamena - Habema - Mumugu; Wamena - Elelim - Jayapura; Enarotali - Ilaga - Mulia - Wamena.

Meanwhile, the project approved by the central government in West Kalimantan Province is the construction of a large sambas bridge. In Central Kalimantan Province, the approved projects are the construction of the Muara Joloi dam, the development of the Dr. Doris Sylvanus Regional Hospital, the completion of the Missing link for the Central Kalimantan highway - the West Kalimantan border.

The governor's proposed project approved by the central government in South Kalimantan Province is the construction of a nickel smelter in Tanah Bambu District, the development of the Banjarbakula metropolitan area (road-based mass transportation service). Meanwhile, the approved projects in East Kalimantan Province are the construction of the border road tering - ujoh said - long pahangai - long apari, continued construction of the marangkayu dam, and the construction of the semoi semoi dam.

The Governor's proposed project approved by the central government in North Kalimantan Province is the development of the Juwata International Airport (Airport Runway Extension),  and the development of Tanjung Harapan Airport. (Asupit/Red/BRP).
