BARITORAYAPOST.COM (Barabai) – The Indonesian National Army United to Build Villages (TMMD) is a service operation of the TNI which is carried out in a cross-sectoral and integrated manner with ministries, non-ministerial government agencies, the Indonesian National Police (POLRI), Regional Government and all components of society.
With the aim of improving people’s welfare and strengthening national and state insight, through physical activities, especially in isolated, underdeveloped, disaster-prone areas, border areas, post-conflict areas and slum urban areas.
One of the areas where the 112th TMMD Military District Command (Kodim) 1002/Hulu Sungai Tengah (HST) will soon hold the TMMD activity.
“The plan for the opening of the TMMD will be tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15, at the Hulu Sungai Tengah Regent’s Office,” explained the Daily Executive (Plh). Officer of the Territorial Section of the Military District Command / Pasiter Kodim 1002/HST, Captain Inf Moh. Alip Suroso, Tuesday (14/9/2021) afternoon at local time.
“The weather for today is quite friendly, and we will start distributing wood materials to be used in the renovation of the Uninhabitable House (RTLH) belonging to Rusdi, a resident of Banua Kupang village, North Labuan Amas sub-district,” added Captain Alip.
When met, Rusdi did not expect that his house would be renovated by the TNI, in this case Kodim 1002/Hst.
“Ulun (I’m in Banjarese) did not expect that the house would be renovated by the Army,” he said
“We can only say thank you to the village head of Banua Kupang, especially to the Hulu Sungai Tengah Military District Command (Kodim ) who will renovate our house,” he said.
In carrying out the renovation of Rusdi’s house, it is planned to be torn down tomorrow Wednesday which coincides with the opening of TMMD. For now, the renovation material is at the TMMD location.(Pendim1002/Tuk).
