Inflows of North Barito Regency Dominated by Students

Since the Covid-19 Prevention Task Force Command Post was activated on March 26, 2020 starting at 13:00 West Indonesia Time until 07.00 West Indonesia Time on March 27, 2020, there have been 747 people entering the North Barito Regency. From these data, it was dominated by students from Banjarmasin, Banjarbaru and Palangka Raya via land transportation, travel services, buses and private cars. This is due to the increasing Covid 19 pandemic that continues to plague the region so that students and students studying in the region are closed. From the results of monitoring in the field with measurements of body temperature, all people who passed did not find any signs of symptoms indicated by Covid-19.


After the COVID-19 case broke out in Indonesia, the North Barito District Government issued various policies to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, including by dismissing schools and adjusting the work of the State Civil Apparatus (SCA) within the scope of the North Barito District Government where Civil Servants, regional honorariums, contract workers, non-permanent employees to carry out work at home or Work From Home (WFH) and also urge residents not to travel to areas declared by the red zone by the government and set up posts in border areas.
